Ottawa police still searching for two men wanted Canada-wide

The Bolo program shared an updated list of Canada’s top 25 most wanted fugitives on Wednesday, and investigators are offering financial rewards to anyone with information about their whereabouts.
Number one on the list is Dave Turmel, a 28-year-old man from Québec wanted on Canada-wide warrants for several offences, including but not limited to substance trafficking, conspiracy, and assault with a weapon.
Also featured on the list are two men that Ottawa police are looking for. They are now eighth and 11th on the Bolo list.
Police said that Gibriil Bakal, 29, of Edmonton, is wanted for first-degree murder in the shooting death of a man in Little Italy early this year. On person was charged with accessory after the fact to murder in February but police say Bakal is still at large.
Mohamed Shire, 34, has been named 11th on the fugitive list of Canada’s top 25 most wanted criminals.
The Toronto man is wanted in connection with a double homicide in an Alta Vista Drive parking lot in May 2021. A reward of up to $50,000 is being offered by the Bolo program for information leading to the arrest of Shire.
He is wanted on two counts of first-degree murder of brothers, Abdulaziz Abdullah and Mohamed Abdullah, and one count of attempted murder
The top five most wanted fugitives are All Boivin (Québec), Rabih Alkhalil (B.C.), Adrian Walker (Toronto), Phillip Grant (Toronto), and Dylan Dennis (Montreal). Rewards for information about their arrests range from $250,000 to $50,000.

In April, Michael Bebee was named Canada’s most wanted fugitive for his alleged role in the murder of Toronto man Shamar Powell-Flowers.
In May, Bebee was taken into custody in Prince Edward Island.
The Bolo Program is an initiative leveraging social media, technology, and innovative engagement to encourage citizens to be on the lookout for Canada’s most wanted. Since 2018, the non-profit Bolo Program has built its most wanted list from the voluntarily submitted lists of police departments across Canada.
