The Ottawa Senators unveiled a third jersey with a number of new little details for the upcoming season at the launch event on Wednesday.
The event showcased new dining options at the Canadian Tire Centre along with a promotional calendar for the 2025-2026 season.
However, it was the new third jersey that grabbed much of the attention. The team even had Senators’ alumni Chris Phillips walk into the event sporting the new look for the first time.
The jersey brings back the primary red colour with gold and black accents on the shoulders and sleeves.

The logo itself sports more details giving it a more flashy sparkle than the regular home and away jerseys.

Some fans have voiced their opinions saying it looks great with the gold sparkle, others suggest it’s the ugliest jersey the team has ever worn.

The new jersey will be worn a total of 13 times this season by the players and for the first time on Oct. 16. at home against the Seattle Kraken.
Fans can get their hands on the jersey on Sept. 21 during a Fan Fest presale, but the general public will be able to purchase the new threads beginning Oct. 13.
