Ottawa man charged in 2024 armed robbery

An Ottawa man is in police custody following an investigation into an armed robbery that occurred in late 2024.
Russell County OPP responded to a reported robbery and break and enter at a residence on Limoges Road in The Nation Township on December 23, 2024. The initial investigation determined that a suspect entered the dwelling while armed with a gun.
A multi-jurisdictional investigation commenced, led by the Ottawa Police Service, and involving the Brockville Police Service and Russell County OPP.
A 26-year-old male from Ottawa has now been arrested and charged with Criminal Code offences in multiple jurisdictions.
Those charges include:
- Break and enter a dwelling house with intent;
- Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence (Robbery);
- Possession of a loaded prohibited/restricted firearm; and
- Robbery using a firearm.
The accused remains in police custody pending a court appearance.
