2 dead following head-on collision in Renfrew

An Ottawa man is one of two deceased following a head-on collision in Renfrew County.
OPP says it responded to reports of a head-on collision involving a pickup truck on Highway 17 between Anderson Road and McCallum Drive in the Township of McNab/Braeside.
It happened on Jan. 31 shortly after 1 p.m.
Both drivers, a 55-year-old male from Renfrew and a 71-year-old male from Ottawa, were pronounced dead.
Highway 17 between Anderson Road and Goshen Road was closed for the investigation, but reopened around 9 p.m. Saturday.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident is asked to contact OPP or submit a tip to Crime Stoppers.
