Pickles recalled due to undeclared mustard

OTTAWA – A brand of pickles is being recalled because it contains mustard which is not declared on the label.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says three types of Mitchell’s brand pickles are being pulled from store shelves, but anyone allergic to mustard who has already purchased the pickles is advised to not eat them and to take them back to the store where they were bought.

The recall affects the following products, which were sold nationally:

The recall was triggered by CFIA testing. There have been no reports of any allergic reactions or illnesses associated with consumption of these products.
