Woman, 37, hit by falling tree at Ottawa General

OTTAWA – A woman was “clinically dead” and had to be revived Wednesday after she was struck by a falling tree during intense thunderstorms that swept through the capital.
The woman, 37, was hit by the tree at the Ottawa Hospital, according to Ottawa Paramedics.
Hospital staff worked together to lift the tree limb off of the patient.
The woman suffered cardiac arrest, and “multi system trauma.”
At last word, she was in critical condition at the trauma centre at the Civic campus.
