Gatineau fire crews battle blaze in Hull sector

A house fire in Gatineau's Hull sector is under control.

There has yet to be word from Gatineau fire officials regarding the total damage or whether or not anyone was injured in the fire.

The blaze sparked just after 12 p.m., Thursday, in the Rue Kent and Rue Victoria area.

Photos from residents and those working in close proximity to the downtown location show the blaze being extinguished.
