OPP Biker Enforcement Unit investigating shooting in Cornwall, suspected arson in Brockville

By CityNews Ottawa staff

A shooting in Cornwall and a suspected arson in Brockville are now both being investigated by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Biker Enforcement Unit.

Three people were shot and wounded in northwest Cornwall on Saturday.

Roughly 36 hours later, a biker clubhouse in Brockville went up in flames.

Police have not linked the two incidents, but say they involved the Outlaws Motorcycle Club and the Loners Motorcycle Club.

The OPP said most motorcycle riders are law abiding, but warn that biker gang members are known to be armed and violent.

The investigations continue into both the shooting and the suspected arson.
