68-year-old Gatineau man killed in head-on collision

MRC des Collines police say the crash happened in Chelsea, Que. on Wednesday.

Police say the man was driving southbound on Highway 105 at 6:40 a.m. in the Alonzo Bridge area when he suddenly changed lanes and hit an oncoming vehicle.

The other driver, a 53-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.

Officers are asking any drivers who witnessed the collision to call Detective Sergeant Alexandre Tessier at 819-459-2422 ext. 4207.
