Ottawa police want to know who lost these earbuds

It’s possible that the person who lost earbuds and a case on St. Laurent Boulevard could have information for police that could help solve a homicide.
Ottawa police are releasing images of dark blue ONN earbuds and case, with the left earbud missing. They believe that the person who lost the case on St. Laurent Boulevard between Montreal Road and Brittany Drive on or around Oct. 2 could have seen or heard something in relation to a stabbing that happened.
That night, in the 500 block of St. Laurent, Justin James Weir, 55, was fatally injured. A suspect in the case remains unidentified, police said.
The only suspect in the case can be seen wearing a dark puffer jacket, black pants with white socks and black sandals. They appear to be wearing a surgical face mask with the hood of the jacket pulled up.
Weir is the seventh stabbing-related death in Ottawa this year, and the 14th homicide case.
