Mixed bag of weather to ring in April

As spring fights to make its way to Ottawa, the city can expect unpredictable temperatures and precipitation throughout the week.

Flurries are expected Sunday afternoon ending in the evening, but the high is 7 C.

Moving into Monday, the high is 15 C before dipping back down to the freezing mark early Tuesday morning.

Throughout Tuesday and Wednesday, periods of freezing rain are forecasted by Environment Canada before a mix of rain and snow as temperatures peak at 2 C Thursday.

By Saturday the high is forecasted to be 8 C.

The average temperature for this time of year is approximately 5.3 C.
