Around 4:45 p.m., crews responded to several 911 calls reporting a townhouse fire at 244-A Claridge Drive.
Smoke was visible from a distance and a working fire was declared when crews arrived on the scene.

It took about an hour to get the fire under control.
Damage is pegged at $1,000,000 and three units are uninhabitable.
There were no injuries and the cause is under investigation.
