Child luring charges laid against an Ottawa man

The Ottawa Police Service's Internet Child Exploitation Unit is charging a 42-year-old man who is believed to have sent explicit material online and lured a 7-year-old.
The investigation into this case started in February of 2020 and a search warrant was executed Wednesday on digital devices belonging to a suspect.
Following the execution of that warrant, Kevin Clement, of Ottawa, has been charged with:
- Making sexual explicit material available to a child (two counts)
- Luring a child (two counts)
- Unlawfully possess child pornography
He is scheduled to appear at court on Wednesday.
