Flames ripped through a barn in the Ottawa Valley, killing dozens of livestock.
Edward Cavanagh of Toledo says his wife spotted the blaze and called 9-1-1, but the barns were already engulfed in flames by the time he got outside.
Cavanagh stated that he lost 50 goats, a cat, a cow, and a horse in the blaze.
Dozens of firefighters from several nearby communities responded to the call. It took crews around two hours to douse the flames.
A local contractor was called in to tear down the barn as a pre-caution.
The Cavanaghs say other farmers in the area have offered to temporarily house the remaining goats.
