Fire crews rescue man and two dogs from local pond

A man and his two small dogs were rescued from a local pond Tuesday.
The Ottawa Fire Service responded to the far west pond at Andrew Haydon Park just before 6 p.m.
The man was treated by paramedics on scene and was listed in stable condition in hospital.
Emergency crews are reminding the public to stay off the ice because it is very thin.
