Kingston resident charged with impaired driving

The Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one driver with impaired driving.

On Feb. 25 just after 7 p.m., officers were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision on Bath Road.

Officers attended the scene and spoke to the driver.

Richard Young, 33, of Kingston, Ontario, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on March 7. His licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
