Monday heat wave ties record

It was a hot one, Monday, but the heat wasn't quite record-brekaing.
The hottest July 16 ever recorded at the Ottawa Airport was back in 1968.
Monday's temperatures tied that record, of 33.9 degrees Celsius, but did not break it.
A cooler day is in store Tuesday.
1310 NEWS Meteorologist Jill Taylor's guaranteed high for Tuesday is 28 degrees, and she's forecasted that the heat warning will end in the morning.
