OC Transpo and Loblaws combine for the 34th annual Christmas Food Drive

The City of Ottawa, in partnership with Loblaw Companies Limited, will be collecting donations for the 34th annual OC Transpo / Loblaw Christmas Food Drive.
All food and cash donations will be collected on Saturday December 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will benefit the Ottawa Food Bank.
OC Transpo buses will be parked outside participating Loblaws, No Frills, Your Independent Grocer and Real Canadian Superstores across Ottawa.
Volunteers will be collecting non-perishable food items and cash donations.
You can also donate online at ottawafoodbank.ca/octranspo. For every dollar, the Ottawa Food Bank can purchase about $5 worth of food.
The food collected is delivered to four local food banks: the Ottawa Food Bank, the Stittsville Food Bank, the Kanata Food Cupboard and the FAMSAC Food Cupboard in Nepean.
