Ottawa Police Services Board accepting applications for deputy chief position

In October of 2022, the OPSB hired Eric Stubbs as the new chief of the OPS, while Steve Bell, who served as deputy chief, assumed the role and responsibilities of chief administrative officer.

The Ottawa Police Services Board (OPSB) is accepting applications for the next deputy chief of the Ottawa Police Service (OPS). 

In October of 2022, the OPSB hired Eric Stubbs as the new chief of the OPS, while Steve Bell, who served as deputy chief, assumed the role and responsibilities of chief administrative officer. 

The position is being advertised through the Odgers Berndtson website, the firm in responsible for conducting the search. 

Applications will be accepted until March 6, 2023. The OPSB is planning to hold interviews at the end of March and early April.
