Sparks Street named official Ottawa site for Winterlude 2020

The Sparks Street Business and Improvement Area has been selected as the official Ottawa site for Winterlude 2020.
Canadian Heritage will be working closely with the Sparks Street BIA and Mall Authority to bring the annual winter festival to life, including the International Ice Carving Competition.
Residents can expect to see a variety of concerts, events, and street activations on Sparks Street next year, between Elgin Sreet and Bank Street.
Sparks Street businesses will also be active with winter patios, games, contests, and live DJ nights.
The festival will be held over three weekends in February 2020:
- January 31 – February 2
- February 7 – 9
- February 14 – 17
Jacques Cartier Park usually hosts Winterlude activities in Gatineau, and there has been no word of a location change on that side of the Ottawa River for 2020.
