Two people arrested after police recover illegal firearm in vehicle

Two people in their 20s were arrested after Ottawa Police recovered an illegal firearm.

On Tuesday night, patrol officers pulled a car over in Centretown and recovered an illegal firearm in the vehicle. Police say a 28-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man were arrested. 

The Ottawa Police Services (OPS) Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating and charges will follow.
