Voters get incorrect polling information from Ottawa-Vanier Liberals

The Ottawa-Vanier Liberal campaign says it was a mistake, but one that was only caught after the flyers were sent out.

Some voters are being urged to double-check their polling information, after a political campaign sent some people the wrong information.

Campaign literature from the Ottawa-Vanier Liberal campaign sent to some voters included the wrong location for their polling station.

The Nathalie Des Rosiers campaign says it was a mistake, but one that was only caught after the flyers were sent out.

A spokeswoman for the province's electoral agency, Jessica Pellerin, urges people in the riding -- and across the province -- to check their voter information cards, or Elections Ontario's website, to verify where they should go to cast their ballot.

Pellerin says they can also contact their returning office directly.

Polls are open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.
