Atletico Ottawa's full schedule features a home-heavy second half.

The new Canadian Premier League (CPL) club kicks off on April 18 against Forge in Hamilton. Its first home match goes Saturday, May 16, against HFX Wanderers at 3 p.m.

After the home opener, Atletico plays its next three of four games at TD Place; hosting Pacific from Victoria, B.C., York9 from Ontario's York Region, and Cavalry from Calgary.

From mid-June to the end of July, Ottawa fans will have to be patient as their team plays seven of eight games on the road. The team then plays nine of its final 11 contests at home.

All 14 home matches will be played on weekend nights and afternoons (two Friday night games, six on Saturdays and six on Sundays).

Aside from its full season schedule Friday, the CPL also released a new regular season and playoff format.

It is not yet known when Atletico Ottawa will be unveiling its home and away kits. All other teams will be showing off new-look jerseys on February 27.

The club has named it's coach and general manager, Miguel Ángel Ferrer Martínez, better known as Mista, but has yet to uncover any players that have been signed to the team.
