First degree murder charge laid in Donald Street homicide

A suspicious death on Donald Street has landed a 27-year-old behind bars, facing a first degree murder charge.

Kenneth Ammaklak was found dead in a home, just east of Vanier Parkway on May 14.

Police soon turned the investigation over to its Major Crime Unit.

Martin Frampton, of no fixed address, was arrested Thursday night and charged.

He appeared in court Friday afternoon, where he was remanded into custody.
