Donate your old car to support individuals struggling with addiction

By Riley Barsanti, Community Cares team

Teen Challenge Canada operates a vehicle donation program that helps support men and women overcome life-controlling substance addictions.

This proven 12-month, in-residence, alcohol and drug addiction rehabilitation program, operates eight centres across five provinces in Canada.

Donating is remarkably easy with a national toll-free number, simple online form and every person who donates receives a fair market tax-receipt for their vehicle donation (minimum $400).

The need for Canadian addiction treatment continues to grow every year, so it is with great excitement that the 9th Teen Challenge Canada centre will open on January 4th in the Ottawa area. The new Eastern Ontario Men’s Centre facility will help men from across Canada who want to live free from their life-controlling substance addictions.

When an individual struggling with addictions asks for assistance, you have the power to help, by simply donating a vehicle that you don’t need; and you get a tax receipt too!

If your old vehicle is ready to go help change a life, go www.donateyourcar.ca or call 1 (800) 856-8902.
