The Upper Canada District School Board has confirmed that four of its schools have had at least one individual who has tested positive for COVID-19.

The board said parents, guardians, staff and students at these school got notification of the cases from March 19 to 20.

The schools involved are:

  • Eamer’s Corners Public School in Cornwall
  • St. Lawrence Secondary School in Cornwall
  • Perth & District Collegiate Institute
  • The Stewart School in Perth

“At Perth & District Collegiate Institute, Eamer’s Corners Public School and The Stewart School, their respective health units determined that the individuals were not at the school while infectious,” the announcement on the board’s website said. “This means contact tracing is not required within the school environment.”
