O-Train plan continues to develop

The O-Train expansion plan is zipping right along!

The city approved a $59 million plan to purchase six new diesel trains and double its tracks.

This puts passengers able to catch an O-Train every 8 minutes, the current frequency is every 15.

The city has also commissioned studies to look at extending track in increments out to the Leitrim Park and Ride and Riverside South.

The improvements are expected to be in place in 2014.
