Body found under Alexandra Bridge

Police are still looking for clues into the death of a man whose body was found on the ice below the Alexandra bridge.
Pierre Lanthier with Gatineau police tells 1310News a passersby called police around 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon after spotting his body near the Hull marina.
Police say the man, who was in his 40’s was from Ottawa, but they are not releasing his name.
The Hull marina and the pedestrian walkway on the interprovincial bridge were closed while officers and the Surete du Quebec’s Canine Unit investigated.
An autopsy is being conducted in Montreal to find out how exactly the man died.
