Cornwall man charged with historical sex assaults

A 47-year-old man from Cornwall has been charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting a young girl over the course of nine years.

The attacks began in 2000 when the girl was just six-years-old and lasted until 2009. The suspect, who has not been identified, was arrested Tuesday and has been charged with three counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual interference.

He’ll be back in court on April 12.
