One dead after plane crash on Highway 97c in B.C.

KELOWNA, B.C. – A float plane carrying three people has crashed in British Columbia .
Initial reports said five people were aboard the DeHavlland Beaver aircraft when it went down on Sunday evening near the community of Peachland, southwest of Kelowna.
The B.C. Coroners Office has confirmed one person has been killed.
The National Transportation Safety Board says the plane burst into flames after the crash.
The plane was flying from Okanagan Lake to Pitt Meadows.
Two Transportation safety board investigators will be headed to the scene later today to examine the crash site to determine a cause.
