Capital Hoedown organizers may have nailed down venue

OTTAWA – It appears one of the question marks swirling around Ottawa’s Capital Hoedown has been resolved.

Reliable sources told 1310News that organizers have secured a venue to stage the festival that will be on private property.

The source also said organizers have the option to stage the country music festival in the location in future years.

Organizers will have to inform the city and discuss possible traffic and security issues.

An official announcement from Capital Hoedown is expected Monday afternoon.
