Police search for missing 12-year-old ends; located safe and sound

OTTAWA – Police say a missing 12-year-old girl has been located, safe and sound, after she was reported missing, Friday.

Carissa Stephenson of Ottawa had last been seen in downtown Ottawa on Albert Street, Friday morning.

Police said early Friday afternoon, she was located, and thanked the public and the media for their assistance.
