Queensway reopens after overpass replacement

Highway 417 has partially reopened in both directions between Nicholas Street and the Vanier Parkway after a full shutdown.
Crews installed the Lees Avenue overpass, the largest and heaviest structure in North America to be put in place using rapid bridge replacement construction.
There are still lane closures in effect.
The highway should be fully reopened by 5 a.m. Monday.
