Unoccupied home destroyed by fire in Orleans

OTTAWA – There were no injuries in an Orleans fire overnight.

Crews were called to 2243 Page Rd. just after midnight, and arrived to find the home was completely involved.

A second alarm fire was declared.

The home, which was unoccupied at the time, was completely destroyed. A neighbouring home received exposure damage, though the occupants were not displaced.

There is no word yet on damage or what caused the blaze.
