Canada Post warns of potential mail disruption

OTTAWA — Canada Post is warning about the potential for a mail disruption, and urges you to get your packages in the mail now to ensure delivery.
Talks are continuing, Canada Post says, but that a legal work stoppage could begin as soon as Saturday, July 2.
If that happens, Canada Post says, there would be no mail delivery.
Deadlines to mail letters and parcels within Canada, before a potential disruption, begin today:

The Federal Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour appointed conciliation officers to help in negotiations with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers. The 60-day conciliation period officially ended earlier this month, and a 21-day “cooling-off period” began.
While talks have continued, the “cooling-off” period is about to expire, meaning a legal work disruption could begin as early as Saturday.
