Canadiens acquire defenceman Mike Reilly from Wild at trade deadline

MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens acquired defenceman Mike Reilly from the Minnesota Wild on Monday and sent defenceman Joe Morrow to the Winnipeg Jets.
Minnesota receives a 2019 fifth-round pick for Reilly. Montreal received a 2018 fourth-round pick from Winnipeg.
The Canadiens announced both deals just after the 3 p.m. ET trade deadline.
Reilly, 24, has played 84 NHL games since debuting with the Wild in 2015-16. He has two goals and 10 points in 38 games this season.
The Chicago native was drafted in the fourth round, No. 98 overall, by the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2011.
Morrow, 25, has five goals, six assists and 26 penalty minutes in 38 games for Montreal this season.
