Firefighters tackle RONA lumberyard blaze in Hammond

Fire crews continue to battle a blaze at a RONA lumberyard in Hammond, just east of Ottawa.

Photos and videos of the fire started to be shared on Facebook, late Tuesday afternoon, showing the business up in flames.

Hammond is located north of Limoges, and south of Clarence-Rockland.

Residents are being asked to avoid the Lacroix Road, Gendron Road and Gagne Road area while emergency crews remain on the scene.

There has been no word about any injuries related to the incident.
