CHEO Telethon raises $11.8 million, breaks record

A record amount of money was raised for the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) through its annual telethon.

The CHEO Telethon raised more than $11.8 million for the CHEO Foundation, a record amount.

The total also includes money from fundraising events conducted throughout the year.

The proceeds will be used for things like infrastructure, equipment, and medical research.
