No injuries reported following bungalow fire in Vars

There are no injuries reported following a fire in Vars.
Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) responded to a single-family bungalow on Rockdale Road, near Forced Road around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, after several 911 calls reporting smoke and flames visible from the home.
When fire crews arrived on scene, the home owner confirmed everyone, including the family pet, had made it out of the home safely.
There were visible flames inside the home and firefighters quickly declared a working fire.
A fire investigator was dispatched to the scene to determine the cause of the blaze and the Canadian Red Cross and the Salvation Army are assisting those affected.
