T&T Supermarkets opening new store in Kanata

T&T Supermarkets announced on Thursday, July 27 that a new store is coming in the west end of Ottawa.

The new, 38,000 square foot store is going to be located inside the Hazeldean Mall, and is expected to open in the winter of 2024.

This will be the second T&T Supermarkets location in the Ottawa region. There is one store located Hunt Club Road.

“Adding a new store in Ottawa was an easy decision,” said Tina Lee, chief executive officer (CEO) of T&T Supermarkets in a release. “If you’ve ever visited the T&T on Hunt Club on a Saturday morning, you’ll know it’s packed to the brim. We’re delighted that more and more people are choosing our stores as a destination for fresh and exciting food experiences. Also, we can tell from our online delivery service data that many online orders are coming from the Kanata area. So we’re doing this for our amazing, loyal customers in Kanata – bringing the full store experience even closer to home.”

The owners of the Hazeldean Mall, the Regional Group, said the addition of T&T Supermarkets to Kanata is a positive step into fostering growth in the west end community of Kanata.
