Pedestrian hit by bus in downtown Ottawa

One person was taken to hospital in stable condition after a collision involving a pedestrian in downtown Ottawa.

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) says a pedestrian was hit by a bus around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 5 at the intersection of Rideau and Cumberland streets.

The Ottawa Paramedic Service tells CityNews Ottawa one man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening facial injuries.

No on one the bus required medical treatment.

There is no word yet from police on what caused the crash or if any charges will be laid.
