Greater Napanee man arrested for multiple drug offences

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) have arrested and charged a man for multiple drug offences.
On Mar. 13, 2024 prior to 10:00 p.m., OPP CSCU members located a male on John Street in Greater Napanee and arrested him during a search.
In that search, police say they found these illegal drugs:
- 24 grams of cocaine, approximately
- 2 grams of fentanyl
- 1 gram of suspected methamphetamine
Along with the drugs, police also found a seized a cell phone, digital scaled, plastic bags and cash.
The 29-year-old man from Greater Napanee has been charged with the following:
Possession for the purpose of trafficking
Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000 – Opioid
Two count of failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court
The man was released from police custody following a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
