Return of Kings cancel meetups around the world, including Ottawa

OTTAWA – Returns of Kings will not be meeting in Ottawa, or anywhere else in the world for that matter.
The leader of the controversial blog, who goes by the name Roosh V., has announced the cancellation of meet -ups in more than 40 countries.
In an online post, Roosh says he can no longer ensure the safety or privacy of the people in attendance.
The blog is self-described as ‘a small but vocal collection of men in America today who believe men should be masculine and women should be feminine,’ and came under fire from our mayor this week.
The blog is considered by many to be homophobic and misogynistic, and when it was reported Return of Kings had planned a meet-up for Ottawa, Jim Watson took to Twitter, saying hate groups are not welcome.
