The Eastern Ontario Health Unit is holding its first pop-up COVID-19 clinic in Cornwall for residents 12 years of age and over.
The clinic will be held at the Benson Centre at 800 Seventh St. West on Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until supplies last.
The clinic is open to all residents of Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry, Prescott-Russell, as well as the City of Cornwall and Akwesasne.
Vaccines will be given on a first come, first served basis.
Residents are asked to enter the parking lot via Second Street at 7:30 a.m.
Wrist bands will be handed out to the people in line and individuals will be told at wha time to return for their vaccine.
Area residents can attend a pop-up clinic to receive either their first or second dose of the vaccine.
Both Moderna and Pfizer will be offered, though youths aged 12 to 17 can only receive the Pfizer vaccine.
Depending on availability, people attending clinics for their second dose may not receive the same vaccine as their first dose.
Residents from outside the EOHU area will not be accepted at the pop-up clinics and will be directed to book an appointment through the provincial vaccine booking system instead.
