Two charged in Uplands-area gunpoint home invasion, one suspect still at large

The Ottawa Police Service is still looking for one suspect in a home invasion on Downpatrick Road, just south of Hunt Club Road and east of Uplands Drive.
Three men forced their way into an apartment and assaulted a woman on on February 14, at 10:15p.m..
A second person at the home intervened in the altercation, which, police say prompted one of the suspects to point a firearm at both victims.
The OPS' Robbery Unit arrested and charged Ahmed Bille, 27, from Ottawa, on April 8 and charged him with:
- Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence
- Break and enter and commit/dwelling-house
- Forcible confinement
- Carrying a concealed weapon
- Possession of a weapon for committing an offence
- Pointing a firearm
- Assault with a weapon
He is scheduled to appear in court on May 13.
A second man, Michael World, 24, of Ottawa is going to be charged in the coming days. He will also be charged with two counts of breach of probation order.
Investigators continue to look for the third man involved in the invasion, and is asking for the public's help in identifying him.
The man is described as:
- Black
- Approximately 6' 0'' (183 cm)
- 170-180 lbs (77-82 kg)
- Was wearing a green parka, grey pants, black shoes, a blue bag in his right hand, white or grey gloves, a scarf covering the bottom part of his face, and a black toque.
