Child sexual abuse, exploitation charges laid with more victims possible

Ottawa police laid several charges against a man following an investigation into his involvement with children.

According to the press release, officers made an arrest on Oct. 24 after a search warrant led to them finding child sexual abuse and exploitation material. Following this, they charged John Gordon, 52, of Ottawa, who is facing offences related to the investigation.

Police said they believe there could be other victims because of the suspects “involvement in the community.”
